Community: The Music Room at Ranken Jordan

Teipen Performing Arts sponsors the Music Room at Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital in Maryland Heights, Missouri. We are proud to support a place where music helps children heal.

Ranken Jordan has a dedicated Music Room and a full-time board-certified music therapist, Mary Hitchcock-Reinhart, MT-BC — known as “Music Mary.” Music therapy there supports motor, cognitive, communication, and emotional goals for medically complex children.

On December 11, 2019, KSDK Channel 5’s Show Me St. Louis aired “Healing through the power of music therapy at Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital,” featuring an interview with Nora Teipen, founder of Teipen Performing Arts.
