Elves' Dance

Ezra Jenkinson — violin practice in the original A minor (Bosworth 1894 / public domain). Prestissimo character, practiced at your tempo.

Play each note into your microphone. When you match the pitch, an elf appears in the moonlit forest. Finish a section and they dance; finish the piece and the whole forest celebrates.

How to use

  1. Press Start with Mic and allow microphone access when asked.
  2. Play the note shown (A minor — open A, A & E strings, some G/D string notes).
  3. Short notes only need a brief steady pitch — hold tolerance follows your practice speed.
  4. For repeated notes, use a clear re-attack (lift the bow briefly).
  5. Practice one section at a time, or restart a section after a stumble.
  6. Use Hear It for a reference at your chosen speed. No mic? Use Demo and tap the note buttons.
  7. Wrong notes get a gentle “higher / lower” hint — no penalty.
